In 1997, 13-year-old Billie-Jo Jenkins was murdered in the garden of her foster home in East Sussex after suffering multiple blows to the head.
Her foster father, Sion Jenkins, was convicted before his conviction was quashed on appeal. After two retrials ended with hung juries, no one has ever been convicted of her murder.
