In 1912, six children and two adults were found murdered with an axe inside their home in the small town of Villisca, Iowa.
The killer appeared to remain in the house after the murders, covering mirrors and the victims' faces before disappearing. Despite several suspects and a sensational investigation, the case has never been solved.
